Tick-tock, tick-tock
Second turns to minute,
As minute turns to hour.
Tick-tock, tick-tock
In a blink of an eye,
Time has already passed.
A life was lost,
A friend has left,
And never will return.
Gone, forever alone
Haunted by the times,
Our memories together.
If only I could,
If only I was able to stop-
To freeze the passing time.
Maybe, just maybe
There might be a difference.
A change in reality.
A life might be saved,
We might still be together,
Living our memories.
Tick-tock, tick-tock
I wish to stop time,
But the problem is…
I can’t.
